ALBANY, GA (WALB) - 30 years after the space shuttle program started and ended, people celebrated its era Saturday downtown.
Thronateeska Heritage Center held its "Shuttle Saturday" and showcased special presentations in the planetarium.
Leaders spoke about the history of the shuttle program, and showed all kinds of neat photos.
Along with other activities, kids even got a chance to make space shuttle arts and crafts.
