A search for two men in the ruins of a burned home has yielded nothing.

Firefighters are first feared two men house sitting the home may have been inside when fire destroyed the home last night.

Now fire officials say no one was inside the home at 707 North County Line Road in Dougherty County.

The two story home was a complete loss.

A passerby spotted the flames about 11:30pm Thursday and called 911.

A fire department spokesman says the owner of the home is out of town and told them that two men were house sitting.

Firefighters were unable to go into the home for safety reasons until today when they confirmed no one was injured in the fire.
