Valdosta police make two arrests in a burglary and they're investigating several more.

Around 2:40 Thursday morning police responded to T & D Fashions on Lee Street.

Witnesses saw two guys running from the business.

Police found 26-year old Tremaine Monson of Madison, Florida hiding behind a dumpster nearby and later arrested 20-year old Lafrederick McQuay.

They're charged with burglary.

Wednesday five home burglaries were reported to Valdosta police.

Esterline Nicholas says someone smashed a window at her home on Green Street and stole a flat screen T.V.

"It's messed up because people work hard," said Esterline Nicolas. "It's already hard to find jobs and people work hard for their stuff and it's wrong it's just wrong for someone to go into people's stuff that don't even belong to them."

An air conditioning window unit and refrigerator were stolen from this house on Lee Street.

Police don't think the break-ins are related.

Someone also broke into offices at South Georgia Medical Center and stole a small amount of cash.
