CAIRO, GA (WALB) - The Cairo Career Center and the Grady County Employee Committee are co-sponsoring a seminar they say will be well worth your time.

The seminar is entitled "Project Safe Georgia" and focuses on keeping a safe and healthy workplace environment. It's designed for business owners, human resource managers, supervisors, and entrepreneurs.

One member of the Employer Committee says these meetings are incredibly beneficial. "Two hours in the morning away from your office is a very small cost compared to the benefit you get out of this," said Wholesale Grocery Controller T.D. David.

The seminar will be held this Tuesday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 at the Seminole Wind Restaurant in Cairo.

While the seminar is free, there is a $7 charge for breakfast. To register contact Debra Hancock at the Cairo Career Center at 229-377-6526 or e-mail debra.hancock@dol.state.ga.us.
