Two people were hurt in a fire at an Albany duplex Thursday afternoon that left a woman and her six children without a home.

Firefighters say this could be an arson case.

Investigators are still looking into the cause, but neighbors say the woman had been receiving threats.

The fire started at about 1:00 p.m.

Smoke was pouring out of the home when firefighters arrived.

They went in and quickly got it under control, but it flared up about an hour and a half later and they had to return to the scene.

No one was home when the fire started.

But before firefighters got there one man ran inside to try to put out the fire.

He was taken to a hospital and a woman outside of the home was treated for smoke inhalation.
