Lakeland police arrest a woman they believe was attempting to cash bogus checks.

That's a Lakeland police officer questioning 22 year old Jemesa Robinson at the Petro gas station in Lakeland on June 23.

She was attempting to cash a $2,000 check. She told police Brandice Brashaun Winkfield told her she would give her $300 to cash it.

Winkfield and Ronald Fulton, Jr. are charged with forgery, counterfeiting, and conspiracy. Robinson is charged with counterfeiting.
