ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Darton wrestling program has a new head coach.
Purdue assistant Chris Fleeger has been named the new head coach for the Cavalier program.
Fleeger was an outstanding wrestler at Purdue and has coached two all-American lightweights in his four years as an assistant.
Fleeger takes over a Darton program that just finished its third season of competition.
The Cavs placed sixth at nationals last year.
Former Darton wrestling coach Josh Watts is starting a wrestling program at Iowa Western Community College.
