A group of summer campers is giving special gifts to some Albany babies.

The Polka Dot Patch donated gowns for premature babies at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The theme for this project was "sewing good deeds".

The campers used fine cotton from Italy to sew the garments.

One camper says the project hit close to home.

"It makes me feel really good to donate these clothes to premature babies because I was a premature baby and I almost didn't make it, so I'm really grateful," said camper Shelby Covin.

The campers also made zebra print bags for patients in Wheelchairs.
