A woman is wanted by Lakeland Police for forging checks and identity fraud.

College student Robert Young was waiting on a check for more than $7,600 from Valdosta State University.

When it didn't come in the mail as scheduled, he started trying to track it down.

Lakeland police later found out this woman Zerones Johnson cashed it at the Mid-Town Minit Mart on June 2nd.

"She made up a fake driver's license and it looked real enough that the store clerk accepted it," said Lakeland Det. Henry Ferst.

Police are looking for Johnson.

She's black, slender, weighs around 130 pounds, and wears a blonde wig.
