The Lee County Library has a new group to help aspiring writers.

Michelle Brice was looking for feedback on a book she was writing.

She found out there was not a writers group in town, so she decided to start one.

Writers get together to discuss their work, come up with ideas on how to get published, and help each other get past writer's block.

"As a writer you work alone so much, it is a very lonely profession and when you have got others to bounce your ideas off of it makes it that much better," says Michelle Brice, Writers Group Founder.

The writers group meets the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.

If you are interested in getting involved, contact the Lee County Library.
