VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A Valdosta man remains in jail Tuesday for keeping 10 stolen vehicles on his property. Police searched 57-year old Miguel Gaspar's property after a stolen vehicle was spotted on his wrecker.

Investigators recovered 10 vehicles from the woods behind Gaspar's residence. These vehicles were towed and are currently impounded pending additional investigation.

Gaspar was caught by his 10th and most recent theft victim. "A lady had reported seeing a roll back wrecker, red in color, leaving the vicinity of her residence. And it appeared to be a vehicle that she owned on the back of the wrecker. Of course she called and reported it stolen," said Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Pine.

Gaspar is charged with multiple counts of possessing stolen property and one count of motor vehicle theft.
