VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
A man that authorities may be responsible for stealing several cars in the Valdosta area was arrested Monday by sheriff's deputies.
When they arrested Miguel Gaspar on Johnson Road South in Lowndes County, they found ten vehicles that were reported as stolen.
Gaspar will appear before a judge today.

In recent months the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office has received numerous reports of vehicles having been stolen, after being left unattended on the roadside due to a mechanical issue, or taken from residential yards.
On Monday, June 27 a deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division of the Sheriff's Office observed one of the vehicles on the back of a wrecker, owned by Miguel Gaspar, parked at 4325 Johnson Road South.
Additional investigation resulted in a thorough search of the property and the recovery of ten {10} vehicles reported to have been stolen from the South Georgia area. These vehicles were towed from the residence and secured pending additional investigation.
The various law enforcement agencies were notified of the recovery and are working closely with Lowndes County authorities.
Miguel Gaspar has been charged with multiple counts of possessing stolen property and one {1} count of motor vehicle theft. All of the charges are felonies. Miguel Gaspar remains in the Lowndes County Jail and will be appear before a Lowndes County Magistrate Judge this afternoon for an arraignment.
