Another vacant downtown Albany building may be put to good use soon.

The Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority wants to clean up the old NAPA building on Pine Avenue across from the Flint Riverquarium.

There's no roof on the old building. The plan is to use it as an outdoor space or art park.

First, officials have to clean up the building and make sure it's sturdy enough to host events.

"I thinks it's a great idea and it would give kids and families something else to do," said neighbor, Stacy Childs.

If everything works out, ADICA would like to host "Nights at D-town" events at the building.
