A local celebrity in Valdosta greeted people who are looking for America's friendliest city.

Representatives from Rand McNally and U.S.A. Today stopped in Valdosta as they tour the country.

Sonny Shroyer, who lives in Valdosta, gave them autographed pictures of the Dukes of Hazard cast as they visited the Crescent at the Valdosta Garden Center.

Many of you remember that Shroyer played Enos on that popular television show.

"We just had a great time and so I think we're pretty friendly don't y'all," said Sonny Shroyer.

"The people so far have been so friendly and they're driving down the street and waving at us and we don't even know them they don't know who we are they're just waving at us it's great," said Jason Wynn, a Best of Road representative.

The team got a taste of peach ice cream, toured historic sites, and visited Wild Adventures.
