Dougherty County Commissioners approved the 2011/2012 county budget Monday morning.

The budget amounts to $75million, which includes SPLOST revenues, and will not bring a tax increase, or any furlough days for county employees. Last year, there were three furlough days.

County employees will have to begin contributing 3% toward their retirement.

The general fund budget is $45million.
