Kids and adults got to enjoy a little fun in the park in East Albany.

The Albany Police Department hosted a community day at Heath Park.

Events included potato sack races and inspirational music..

They say it's a great opportunity for kids to have good clean fun.

Police and Firefighters also competed in a tug-of-war contest. The Albany Fire Department won this year, but police say they're already amping up for next year's event.
