
The Valdosta State Athletic program as the Blazers cut the ribbon on its new sports facility Friday morning. The facility will feature a new soccer stadium and new football practice fields and offices.
Some of the amenities will include 6 coach's offices and a conference room, state of the art athletic training rooms, work stations for video editing and much more. The 3 news fields cost 1.8 million dollars are welcome sight for the Blazers.
VSU football head coach David Dean said "We're really excited, we can't wait to get out there. I think this is the most anticipated that we've ever had in starting practice just because we have the opportunity to go out to a new field."
The facility will be open for business when the Blazers hit the field in the fall.
