Agents with the Albany Dougherty Drug Unit arrested six suspected drug dealers Thursday afternoon. At least four babies were inside the home on Carroll street when police found marijuana in the home.

Officials with the Albany Daugherty Drug unit arrested two men and four women after they found roughly a pound of marijuana inside the home along with individual bags of dope.... a loaded nine millimeter gun and bullets.

Concerned neighbors called police several weeks ago. Thursday around 4:30 p.m., they arrested 27-year-old Edwin Haynes, 24-year-old Colby Pritchard and charged them with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

59-year-old Dorothy Battle faces possession of marijuana charges along with 37-year-old Mirieum Merit who's also charged with intent to distribute.

Police are still questioning two other women in the home who will likely face reckless conduct charges.

The Division of Family and Children's Services took custody of the four children found in the home.
