THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A non-profit group is assessing the litter problem in Thomas County and they could use your help. Every year Keep Thomas County Beautiful conducts a litter survey.

This Saturday volunteers will ride around the county and rate each road on a scale of 1 to 10. One is cleanest. 10 represents an extreme amount of trash. "If we're doing the job we should be doing than each year there should corresponding less litter in each area," said Keep Thomas County Beautiful Chairman Len Powell.

Volunteers and County Commissioners will help with the survey. To volunteer, call 228-7616.
