MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

The Former manager of he Colquitt County Teachers Credit Union is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the institution.

Candi Allegood is in the Colquitt County jail, charged with one court of theft by taking, accused of stealing $50,000 when she was the credit union manager.

She was arrested Tuesday afternoon while working at Camilla United Methodist Church.

A routine audit discovered the missing money and Sheriff's investigators called in the GBI to investigate.
