    Information from the Tift County Sheriff's Office- On Tuesday, May 7, 2013, the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force along with the Tift County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on the residence of 36
    The Mid-South Narcotics Task Force and the Tift County Sheriff's Office arrested 36 year old Daniel Eubanks, and seized over $100K in cash.

The Georgia Department of Education released spreadsheets showing the performance of Georgia students on Criterion Referenced Competency Tests for this year today.

The DOE has statistics from students in grades three through eight, who were tested in Reading, English language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Dougherty County eighth grade results are a mixed bag for this year.

Dougherty Students appear strong in reading and English, but fall noticeably ion math and social studies, and have a dramatic deficiency in science.
