BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - Former Bainbridge High quarterback Nick Williams has made one big decision on where to play after transferring from Georgia.
Williams though still has another big decision to make.
Williams has decided he will play at the University of North Alabama but when.
After playing linebacker and safety at Georgia, Williams is transferring to North Alabama to play safety.
The former Bainbridge Bearcat did not redshirt when he was in Athens and that his parents would like for him to sit out this year and play his senior season in 2012.
Nick's parents believe it a year off would help their son adjust to his new school but Williams says the chance to win a national championship this year has him leaning towards playing this season.
Nick Williams said. "Right now it is looking like I am going to redshirt but with the talent we have got coming in with Marcus Dowtin and Janorris Jenkins and a couple more guys from DI programs, I want to play."
Nick Williams says Georgia head coach Mark Richt was very helpful in his transfer to North Alabama.
Williams will continue working out in Bainbridge and heads to North Alabama early next month.
