MACON, GA (WALB) - The Georgia defense expecting marked improvement in the second year under defensive coordinator Todd Grantham.
The former NFL assistant brought a 3-4 scheme to Georgia last year.
The new scheme led to mistakes which led to big play scores in the first year of the 3-4 last year.
This summer, the Bulldog defense is now very comfortable with their scheme.
Linebacker Christian Robinson says so much so that the veterans are now able to teach the system to the newest Bulldogs.
Christian Robinson said. "It has been a great offseason learning the playbook. I have really studied it. Perfected our craft. I can teach other people. That is what I am doing right now with the young guys while the coaches are away."
Georgia's defense finished 4th in the SEC under total defense in 2010.
