In East Albany, there was an attempted break in at a pawn shop and sporting good store.
The re-enforced glass door was smashed in several places at the Albany Sporting Goods and Pawn store in the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe.
The manager said someone broke the outside bar and lock off the front doors, but could not get through the other locks. The store's alarm sounded about 3:00AM.
Nothing was taken. The police report says there were no witnesses or suspects in the attempted break in.
