A couple has dedicated their time and research to host a free training session helping local families that are raising children with Attention deficit disorder.

The workshop, ADD: the Truth series, covers important facts that many communities are not exposed to such as proper diet. The goal is to help parents better cope with the disorder.

Co owner TeShaunda Hannor-Walker says "We know that empowered parents raise empowered children our goal is to make sure at the end of the day. The parents can go into a school setting or a doctors office and ask intelligent questions"

The couple are licensed therapist counselors and parents of a child with ADD and use this opportunity to share their story. Their book "How to Raise a Successful child with ADD" explains more of their methods and tips.

If you want to schedule a seminar of your own visit their web site at www.powerfulnotpowerless.com and www.addmorepeace.com
