South Georgia teenagers in foster care got a treat today.

CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, held a seminar for foster girls.

The activities helped the girls focus on positive things about themselves.

A life coach encouraged the girls to be true to themselves and tap into the potential that is within them.

CASA Program Director Evelyn Cookley says the girls need to understand how valuable they can be to society.

"Today is positive, empowering, and uplifting. Just letting them know, look you don't know me and never seen me before, but I'm still here for you. I've been where you have been and I'm here to let you know I love you," Cookley.
