THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomasville High forward Willie Clayton has the game to play at the college and the pro level.
This summer, Clayton will get a chance to work on his game with some European professional players.
Willie Clayton will travel to Poland next month to play in a Future Pro Camp.
He is one of very few select American players who have been picked to play in the camp.
It is the second time the three time all state player has gone overseas to work on his game.
Willie says playing against top college and professional players does bring his game to a new level.
Willie Clayton said. "When I play overseas, my game comes up a whole another level. It is like when I play in Thomasville it is like an 8 probably but when I go overseas it is like a 15."
Thomasville coach Ben Tillman said. "I think the main thing he has learned is just learning how to be a better leader. I think being around the older guys and becoming more mature and what he does off the court has really helped him out tremendously."
Willie Clayton is planning to play college basketball.
He says his four finalists now are Charlotte, Memphis, Mercer and Central Florida.
