MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) – A teenager's murder trial set to get underway this week in Moultrie has been delayed.
Problems with audio and video equipment at the Colquitt County Courthouse prompted a judge to re-schedule the trial for 17-year-old Maurice Lewis Welch for July 18th.
He and two other suspects were arrested for the January 2010 shooting death of 18-year old Juan Giron-Lopez.
Those other defendants are already serving prison terms.
