A relative of Natalie Eppler has been arrested for trying to hire a hitman to kill her husband, Marine Sergeant James Eppler.
Her aunt, 53 year old Irene Wlaszyn, was arrested in Lorain, Ohio Tuesday night for trying to hire a family friend to kill the Albany Marine.
Wlaszyn has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Eppler was held in the Dougherty County jail for nearly three months on charges he killed his wife, Natalie.
Those charges were dropped after her death was ruled a suicide. Sgt. Eppler is on leave from the Albany Marine base and is in Lorain, Ohio with relatives.
