During the height of this drought Albany Police are called to investigate the theft of water.
The manager of this duplex in the 1600 block of Schley Avenue called the cops and showed them a water hose leading to the pool behind the home next door.
41-year Stephanie Marshall told Police she did not know she could not take the water from her neighbor to fill her pool.
Police say Marshall agreed to pay back the building's owner back for water taken over the last several months.
She was not charged.
