TURNER COUNTY, GA (WALB) - The Turner County Sheriff's Office is investigating a mother after her toddler drowned Sunday afternoon.
The sheriff tells us the woman put her two-year old daughter outside while she was cleaning inside their home on Carter Road.
When she came out an hour later, she found her daughter dead in the above ground pool.
Deputies rushed to the scene and tried to revive the little girl but could not.
