Thousands of hot rods rumbled their way through south Georgia Monday morning on their way to Detroit, Michigan.
Our cameras caught the group in Sylvester after a Sunday stop in Valdosta where 3,000 gathered.
It's part of the Hot Rod magazine Power Tour from Cocoa Beach, Florida to Detroit. Every day the group stops in a different city. The group was on their way to Montgomery, Alabama.
One couple came all the way from Australia to participate. They bought the car after they got to America.
"I's a '66 Pontiac Tempest, 326, all standard, nothings been retouched, all original the only thing we did was put the wheels on it, it is as it is and so far so good. All is running nicely," said Matt Endye.
The couple plans to take the car back with them to Australia when the trip is over. The group drives about four hours each day, stopping in different towns along the way.
