ADEL, GA (WALB) -

Officers from the State Patrol, responding to the request of Cook County deputies, arrested 69-year-old Randall Lanier Brady, and charged him with shooting at law enforcement early Sunday morning.

Just after midnight Sunday morning, a call came into Cook Co. 911 from a woman who said that Brady was shooting a gun. When deputies arrived, they say Brady had a pistol in his hand, and fired at least one shot in their direction.

They say Brady ran and hid behind a fence, and then ran to his home, where law men surrounded him.

Brady holed up in his house until almost 8:00 Sunday morning, when GSP SWAT officers made the arrest, peacefully.

Officers from Adel, Sparks, the GBI also came to surround the area.

Brady is in jail in Adel, and faces at least three counts aggravated assault on a law officer.
