Judge Willie Weaver's wife, Vester Weaver, is asking that all charges against her husband be dropped.
He is charged with aggravated assault for hitting her with a beer bottle at a party.
She says he never struck her. She is also requesting that the state order that prevents him to have contact with her be removed.
Vester Weaver spoke at a news conference at her church at noon Monday.
