THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The Thomas County Sheriff's Office is asking people to be on the lookout for a stolen truck and wood chipper. Someone stole a 2005 Ford F-350 and a Woodsman Model 334 from a work site on Summerhill Road.

The items belong to a logging company. Investigators say the wood chipper is worth about a quarter of a million dollars. You could earn a reward if you help catch the crooks.

"We have entered the truck and the chipper into the national database for stolen property. And we're hoping maybe someone will stop the truck or see it. That's why we're asking for the publics assistance in trying to locate it," said Thomas County Investigator Lt. Tim Watkins.

Anyone who has seen the stolen items or has any helpful information is urged to call the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.
