Some older artists showed off their work at the 18th annual Shades of Gold art show today.
The artwork is on display at the Albany Museum of Art.
The overall winner of this year's competition was Eleanor Banks for her painting called "If walls could talk."
Banks was excited to win the best of show award and the viewer's choice award.
"I feel a bit overwhelmed because I never won anything before and to win twice is just awesome," said Banks.
The art show is sponsored by the SOWEGA Council on Aging.
This is the third time in the show's history that the best of show winner also won the viewer's choice award.
