Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
If you're looking for something fun and free for the family to do this weekend, stop by Riverfront Park for National Trails Day.
It's a way of bringing awareness to trails and their benefits and a great way to exercise and enjoy nature. Members of the Audubon Society will be bird watching.
And the Flint Riverquarium will show of some of its animals. There will also be art activities for the kids. Anyone who does a full mile nature walk gets a ticket for a drawing for all sorts of gifts.
"It's just a way of celebrating America's trails, and we've got a fabulous one at Riverfront Park that stretches from riverfront park all the way to Cox Landing so it's a great way to get out and get some exercise, and have some fun," said Albany Recreation and Parks Special Events Coordinator Kristin Caso.
The event will be Saturday from 10 to noon near the train trestle at Riverfront Park.
