The Albany Mall has reopened its east wing after an electrical short in the power supply for the Foot Action store Wednesday afternoon.

The Foot Action remains closed, but the other stores near that location are open for business.

The power was switched off yesterday as firefighters and electricians sorted out the problem.

There are no reports of injuries or property damage in the mall.
