The ABAC community honored the man known as the voice of ABAC Tuesday.

Director of Public Relations Mike Chason is retiring after 32 years at the school.

The campus hosted a retirement reception where Chason was awarded a special trophy in the shape of a microphone for his service to the college.

Chason says, "I think my fondest memory is coming to a place everyday that's in the life changing business. Education changes lives and I know ABAC has changed a lot of lives for the better."

Chason is starting an independent public relations firm and plans to work part-time at ABAC.
