There was a drive-by shooting at 923 west residence in Albany. Police say 19-year-old Chasity Ford was shot twice.

Witnesses say they heard three gun shots near Lipsy on west residence right before midnight. Police told us Ford was standing near the street when she noticed a car.

That vehicle circled around again with a gun out the window. Chasity was shot once in each arm.

Ford was treated and released from the hospital Friday morning. After a preliminary investigation, Police said it could be gang-related.

Neighbors are horrified that something like this could happen. "This is a really quiet neighborhood. I think it's in isolated incident,"said Tarius Mcneil.

It's unknown if she was the target or an innocent by stander.  If you have any information about this you're asked to call crime stoppers at 436-TIPS.
