Moultrie Police and Colquitt County Sheriff's deputies worked together to catch an armed robbery suspect.
Roy Owens was arrested shortly after the robbery of the Family Dollar on First Avenue Southeast around 8:00 Thursday morning.
Police issued the lookout for the robber who rode away on a bicycle.
A Sheriff's deputy nearby on Seventh Street Southeast spotted the bike and saw the man running into a Housing Authority Apartment.
Owens was staying there with friends. They allowed police to search the apartment, where they found the suspected weapon and cash from the robbery.
Police are now working to determine whether Owens is responsible for several other recent robberies.
