ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Re-bidding will get underway soon for the new terminal at Albany's airport.
The aviation commission went over its master plan Monday night which includes the terminal construction project.
It was delayed last month after a subcontractor lost its certification.
Airport officials hope construction will begin in the next few months.
"We're going out for a bid for the third time and they're going to be rebidding the project for us and we hope to have the bid documents out of the streets and bid opening will begin in July," said Yvette Aehle, Southwest Georgia Regional Airport Director.
The terminal is scheduled to open in 2013.
People who live near the airport were invited tonight to give their input on a runway lengthening project.
