Panthers bring back Alton Pettway - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

The Albany Panthers has added another piece to the SIFL's second ranked defense.  The team bringing back former Albany State defensive end Alton Pettway. Pettway signed as a free agent with the St.Louis Rams back in 2006 after having 14.5 sacks as a senior at ASU. He was also a two time all SIAC defensive player.

Pettway played 11 games with the Panthers last season and finished the year with a team high 6 sacks to go along with 19.5 tackles.
