The Albany Civic Center was packed Saturday as hundreds of seniors from four high schools received their diplomas.

Ceremonies were held throughout the day for graduates from Westover, Dougherty, Albany, and Monroe high schools.

While we were at the Civic center we caught up with one non-traditional student.

32-year-old Kelisha Gulley is excited to finally earn her high school diploma today, she had the full support of her friends and family.

"In 1998, I didn't pass my graduation test, so I went back, took it and I finally got it," said Gulley.

Gulley has been earning her degree as an early childhood specialist at Albany Tech, she plans on graduating in December.
