ST. GEORGE, UT (WALB) - The Darton softball team has been eliminated from the NJCAA World Series but the Lady Cavaliers have nothing to be ashamed of after playing four games on Friday.
Darton started their Friday by defeating Butler 7-3 in the completion of a game suspended due to rain on Thursday.
Darton then rallied from a 6-0 deficit to defeat Northwest Oklahoma A&M 12-6 and then the Lady Cavs beat Iowa Western 5-2.
Darton's run came to an end in their fourth and final game.
Tallahassee Community College defeated Darton 5-1.
Darton finishes the season 50-11.
