
MORRISTOWN, TN (WALB) - The South Georgia Tigers will be heading back to the JUCO World series after beating Columbia State 7-3 in the East Central District final. Its the Tigers' first trip to World Series since 1970.
The win was especially sweet for Scott Sims who plans on retiring after 20 years as head coach for the Tigers. The JUCO World Series will begin on May 28th in Grand Junction, Colorado.
