Sunday Package alcohol sales could be on the way to Albany.

The Albany City Commission  voted in committee today to put the question on an election ballot.

The Georgia legislature this year approved a measure allowing communities to decide whether Sunday alcohol sales should be allowed.

The City Commission is set to take a final vote  Tuesday, May 24 on whether to put the Sunday alcohol sales on the November election ballot.
