The family of a Miller County woman is mourning tonight after GBI investigators say the 58 year old was murdered by her husband, before he took his own life.

A Ben Hill County man, accused of killing his wife of 13 years, is in custody.

Frank McDaniel was booked into the Ben Hill County jail at 11 pm Sunday.

McDaniel had been on the run since the shooting death of his wife, Brenda McDaniel.

Investigators believe she was killed ten days ago, but her body wasn't discovered until Mother's Day, when concerned family members asked deputies to check on her at her home.

A lookout was posted for Frank McDaniel, who was considered armed and dangerous.

He surrendered this evening at the Bibb County Sheriff's office.

McDaniel was then taken to Ben Hill County to face the murder charge.
