THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - South Georgia Drug agents nabbed two people trying to sell prescription drugs illegally.

The Thomas County-Thomasville Narcotics Vice Division arrested a woman Friday night at a home on Sanford road for attempting to sell Hydrocodone and diazepam, an ingredient used in Valium.

Undercover agents also arrested a Moultrie man for also trying to sell prescription drugs on North Enon road in Thomasville.

Investigators say John Powell had more than 120 Hydrocodone pills he planned on selling for $4 a piece.

Powell was taken to the Thomas County jail on drug charges, but is now out of jail.

The woman arrested will be charged once she's released from a hospital.
