What better way to celebrate a beautiful day like Friday than with a picnic?
A couple of hundred senior citizens did that-- But inside in the Air Conditioning.
The SOWEGA Council on Aging held its 38th Annual Senior Citizen Picnic at Chehaw Park to celebrate Older Americans Month. There was live music dancing games and delicious food.
The highlight for some was a special visit by Dr. Prince Charles and Dr. Princess Grace, who can put a smile on pretty much everyone's face.
"They seem to be very happy to see the dogs. They cant believe they are real. They think they are stuffed animals," said Love on a Leash Volunteer Joy Sheckels.
Both of those stylish dogs are rescues from the Albany Humane Society.
The highlight for some was a special visit by Dr. Prince Charles and Dr. Princess Grace, who can put a smile on pretty much everyone's face.
